Check the photos below before leaving a comment on the question:
1) Some morning glory vines decorating the pole limas on our garden trestle. 2) A volunteer sunflower welcoming us at the south end of our garden plot.
3) A 12' tall sunflower, also uninvited, standing guard at the north end.
4) An unidentified wonder standing like a sentinel at the front of our house (I finally removed it due to the fear our neighbors might object).
But think about it. What is a weed but another amazing creation just showing up uninvited and unannounced?

...nature doesn't like barer ground. "Weeds" are designed to cover the ground to prevent erosion.
Everything in nature serves some purpose.
