While I would argue that cuts are necessary in every aspect of our current government's budget (or lack of), I would rather see "waste" on social programs domestically. <br /><br />President Obama has been criticized by the "right" for wanting to gut the military, but even his phantom cuts (because they are not actual cuts), should they actually happen (which they won't) will not reduce current spending levels a nickel.<br /><br />Even more telling (because it is within the right's party), Dr. Paul's budget cuts 200 billion from Defense spending, which takes us back to 2006 levels, but Republicans say his budget leaves us exposed and defenseless.<br /><br />Perspective is exactly what is missing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
